About Aditi

I am a friendly, reliable Maths tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in helping students build confidence in their learning. I hold a BEng in Electronic Engineering from King’s College London and have completed postgraduate study at the London School of Economics, giving me a solid foundation in mathematics and analytical thinking. Alongside tutoring, I work in Data and AI consulting, where clear thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving are essential. I bring these skills into my teaching by explaining concepts step-by-step and adapting my approach to suit each student. I am patient, well-organised, and take time to ensure students feel comfortable asking questions.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding and building strong foundations, ensuring students fully understand key concepts before moving on to exam-style questions. I focus on explaining the why behind each method, helping students develop logical thinking rather than relying on memorisation. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on the student’s concentration and goals. A usual lesson includes concept explanation, guided practice, and independent questions with feedback. I place strong emphasis on exam technique, common mistakes, and clear working, which is essential for GCSE success. I hold a BEng in Electronic Engineering from King’s College London and have further postgraduate study at the London School of Economics, giving me a strong mathematical foundation. Alongside my academic background, I have several years of experience teaching and coaching young students. My lessons are suitable for students up to GCSE level (Maths), including those who need confidence-building support, help closing gaps, or structured preparation for exams. In addition to academic tutoring, I also offer support with CV and personal statement writing for students preparing for university, or early career opportunities. I help students structure their writing clearly, communicate their strengths effectively, and present their achievements with confidence. Drawing on my experience studying at leading universities and working in consulting, I provide practical guidance on tailoring applications, improving clarity and tone, and avoiding common mistakes. This support is particularly helpful for students who may be unsure how to articulate their interests, skills, or academic goals.
