About Danica
I’m a social worker who has spent years supporting adults in a hospital setting, which has taught me how to stay calm, communicate clearly, and meet people where they are. Working in that environment means I’m used to explaining complex information in a way that feels manageable, respectful, and easy to understand. I bring that same approach to tutoring.
I’m patient, grounded, and genuinely good at helping people feel comfortable while they learn something new. I know how to listen, how to adapt, and how to create a space where someone feels capable rather than overwhelmed. My professional experience has also given me strong organizational skills and a steady, reliable work ethic. I show up prepared, focused, and ready to help.

What makes me different is that I don’t just teach the material — I pay attention to the person learning it.
