My rate reflects the combination of academic training, classroom experience, and individualized support I bring to each lesson. I graduated from Swarthmore College with a background in History and Education, and I have experience working with students who need patient, structured reading and writing support, including students with special learning needs.

My tutoring is not just homework help. I prepare lessons around each student’s needs, break reading and writing into clear steps, and focus on helping students build skills they can use independently. Whether we are working on comprehension, essay structure, grammar, paragraph development, or confidence as a writer, I bring a thoughtful and personalized approach.

At $35/hour, students receive focused one-on-one support from someone who is patient, reliable, academically trained, and experienced in helping learners feel more confident and capable.
