I'm thrilled to connect with you and share my wealth of stories and experiences. Here's a bit about me:

I hail from Taiwan, fluent in Mandarin with clear pronunciation.

As a dedicated educator with a Master's degree, I've spent over 3 years teaching Mandarin to adults and over 5 years teaching Piano and Violin in personalized one-on-one classes.

I'm the brains behind the Mandarin-focused podcast "Taiwan Mandarin with Local," where I dish out tailored language acquisition techniques while delving into Taiwan's vibrant Mandarin, society, and culture, shedding light on unique aspects often overlooked by locals.

I've served as a youth ambassador and interpreter for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, representing my country on delegations to Europe and Africa.

With experience working with American undergraduates from various universities like ASU, BYU, WKU, URI, WU, and UNG, I'm well-versed in guiding students majoring in Chinese, International Relations, Economics, Computer Science, International Studies, and Marketing.

Beyond teaching, I'm an avid art lover and concertgoer.

I speak Chinese Mandarin (Native), Taiwanese (Native), English (Fluent), Czech (Intermediate), and Dutch (Beginner).

About the lesson

My name is Yun. I take great pride and pleasure in providing customized courses for individuals planning to move to or travel in Taiwan, utilizing customized materials and ‘A Course in Contemporary Chinese’ （當代中文課程). I am an enthusiastic life learner with a travel bug as well as an enormous appetite to help out others as well as co-share life stories.
I like to help adults quickly master Mandarin for everyday use in Taiwan, enhancing work productivity, and overall quality of life.
