About the lesson

I’m a Native Tamil speaker who took Tamil, Higher Tamil, and Tamil Literature, consistently achieving A1s and receiving *Best in Tamil* and *Best in Higher Tamil* every year in secondary school. My strong command of the language allows me to speak and write Tamil with exceptional fluency and accuracy. Over the years, I’ve also represented my school and won multiple prestigious Tamil competitions, including the Raffles Institution Tamil Competition, as well as several writing and poetry contests. My passion for Tamil extends beyond academics — I’ve tutored primary school children, secondary juniors, and friends, helping them go from failing grades to As within just a few months. I believe every student can excel in Tamil when guided the right way. My teaching style focuses on making lessons engaging and accessible through personalized explanations, structured practice, and creative activities that spark interest in the language. I provide comprehensive, professionally reviewed notes and materials — carefully curated and approved by my MOE Tamil teacher — to ensure students receive top-quality guidance. I also give constructive feedback, exam-smart tips, and constant encouragement to build confidence in speaking and writing Tamil. My goal is to make Tamil both enjoyable and rewarding for my students, helping them not only achieve strong grades but also appreciate the beauty and richness of the language. Might be giving some really useful tips that helped me get my A1s throughout my life! I'm also really great with children and very patient as, I know every child is different and learn at different paces hence I'll curate my teaching materials and alter my teaching style personally for each and every student.
