About Ahmed
My career started as a Systems Administrator in 2016, during this time I began my journey into software engineering and the next year I became a junior software engineer.
I did that for 2 years until I rose to the rank of an experienced software engineer in 2019.
In 2020 I did my Masters in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham. Being a self taught software engineer made the course a lot more enjoyable for me.
I've always been passionate about computers even from a young age and the curiosity hasn't faded yet!

I love helping complete beginners as well as reinforcing best practices for students with an intermediate grasp on programming.
I have been a software engineer for over 7 years, I've built numerous projects with both Java and Python. One of which is live. I always think from a beginners point of view as it allows me to stay up to date with the latest trends in the realm of software engineering.
I have also worked professionally with both SQL and NoSQL databases. I would like to add that I have a firm grasp on HTML, CSS and Javascript and can also tutor on web design and development from idea to deployment.
