About Alia
Hello! I am Alia, a 19-year-old law student, I am a native English speaker with a diverse background, having lived in Hong Kong, Dubai, and London. I am passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a professional, supportive learning environment to help you succeed. I have extensive experience with contemporary literature and i have previously worked with pre K- grade 5 students in Hong Kong as a NET (Native English Teacher) to equip my students with confidence in their speaking and writing ability. My philosophy to teaching can be encompassed in the following quote by the famous educator and philosopher; "To be free is to be capable of thinking one's own thoughts - not the thoughts merely of the body, or of society, but thoughts generated by one's deepest, most original, most essential and spiritual self, one's individuality.".
