I love to inspire my students and show them out awesome history is.I know many think that History is boring and not important. Even though that is far from the truth because History is fascinating. It's fascinating because it helps teach us about the real world.

Hi! My name is Marissa and I am from the United States of America. I am a substitute teacher for a local preschool and am in the process to become a substitute teacher for my local school district. I have my bachelor's degree in history with a concentration in Military history and I am working on my Masters in Public History. I also teach Military history classes online. My typical lesson plans involve using Microsoft PowerPoint which will include historical facts about the event I am teaching for the day. I also include different Youtube videos to help give more in-depth details to my lessons and also depending on my lesson the Youtube Video could be a historical video. I am a fun and outgoing tutor. I am patient with my students and I am willing to help them learn. My lessons cater to the middle to high school students.
