About Dayna
Hi there! I'm Dayna and I've loved teaching for a while now. I think it's so fun to befriend and work with one another to improve on the subject. Dreaming up written stories, or learning new ways to tackle English material is always something I've enjoyed - so I hope you'll be comfortable reaching out to me for a lesson!

I am great at teaching argumentation, creative writing and have my own materials for that: eg. crafting a narrative and fostering descriptive imagination. Having been in public speaking since young, I'm also able to impart oratory skills / how to formulate ideas logically. Reading comprehension, grammar and vocab will also be included in lessons. A kind and patient person, I am suited to teaching young children!
Depending on the goals of the guardian and child, we can work towards a curriculum that will be best suited for them. The typical length of a lesson will be 1.5 hours.
I have tutored 3 Primary 6 children privately, as well as been employed at a Singaporean Primary School. I helmed English lessons for 3 Primary 5 classes and my material is still being used by the school today.
My lessons are for any grades between Grades 1 - 6 (ie. ages 6 - 13). If any Secondary Schoolers or adults require support, I can help as well. I was a Humanities and English scholar in High School and am great at teaching argumentation and improving others' writing.
