About Tene
I love teaching and I love to see a student blossom from where they started to then seeing the progression. I encourage my students to believe in themselves, trust the process of their learning, and reassuring them that with a growth mindset and my support they will be successful with reading.

My teaching methods of teaching reading by getting the students to break apart the words and sound them out, I practice also with students by identifying letter sounds. A typical lesson plan for me would be: I do, we do, then you do. What sets me apart as a tutor is I'm very patient and I'm warm and supportive to my students and I have a real passion for wanting the students to learn and understand the essence of reading. The lessons are for kindergarten to 12th grade or even to adult.
