About Brooke
I am a dedicated vocal teacher with over 16 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. My teaching approach is rooted in building strong technical foundations while nurturing each student’s unique artistic identity. I work with learners of all levels, guiding them from absolute beginners to advanced performers with patience and clarity.
My training covers a wide range of areas including vocal technique, ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory. I believe that a complete musician understands not only how to sing, but also how to listen, interpret, and create music with confidence. Each lesson is structured to develop both skill and musical awareness in a balanced way.
I incorporate genre-based training to help students adapt their voice across classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary styles. This flexibility allows singers to become versatile performers in any musical setting. I also focus on developing expressive singing through phrasing, dynamics, and emotional connection to music.
Every student receives personalized instruction tailored to their goals, learning pace, and vocal strengths. My aim is to build confident performers who can sing with control, creativity, and authenticity. Through consistent guidance and structured practice, I help students grow into well-rounded musicians who truly enjoy their vocal journey.

The Church Ensemble Player focuses on discipline unity and expressive clarity across classical sacred and contemporary worship music. Their training begins with strong breath control and pure tone production to support choral blending. They master pitch stability through sustained vowel exercises and harmonic listening within group settings. Classical influence is used to refine diction phrasing and dynamic control.
The Crossover Artist is built for flexibility and stylistic freedom across pop jazz and classical genres. They train the voice to shift tone placement smoothly from chest to head voice depending on style. Jazz techniques like improvisation and rhythmic syncopation are practiced alongside pop vocal textures and classical precision. This persona develops adaptability as a core skill.
Both personas rely heavily on structured pitch training to maintain accuracy across genres. Metronomes are used daily to strengthen timing and rhythmic awareness. DAWs help record analyze and refine vocal performances in detail. Pitch training apps provide instant feedback for tuning correction and ear development.
Musicality is developed through active listening and genre immersion. Singers study phrasing from classical choirs pop recordings and jazz improvisations to build versatility. Emotional expression is trained to match the style whether sacred reverent or contemporary energetic. Over time the vocalist becomes both technically strong and artistically adaptable.
