About Fernando
I graduated from Universidad del Atlántico, in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia, as a Bachelor of Modern Languages, specializing in English and German. I have also worked as a simultaneous translator in engineering work. Throughout my professional career I have concentrated on teaching languages in a natural and productive way that is closer to the reality of everyday life of all people and so they can defend themselves in the language they want to speak.

As I mentioned before, my classes are closely related to not only learning to speak a specific language but also to know the culture that surrounds it, its idioms, expressions, etc. I always worry about immersing my students in the things that they like so I can teach them in a more dynamic and precise way. In addition, I teach them new techniques so they do not have to translate in their native language and think more about what they want to learn, be it Spanish, English or German.
