About James
My name is James Bruce and I have recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama which is the top conservatoire in the UK according to the Guardian. I have been playing the trombone since I was 10 years old and have gained a lot of experience over the years. If you’ve never touched a brass instrument and would to give one a try, or if you are already a fairly advanced student, or if you want to pick your instrument after years away from it, do feel free to get in touch!

I am a very open minded teacher and work hard to find a system where all my students can develop quickly. My lessons are usually either 30/60 minutes. Right now I am in my 4th year of study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and am gradually becoming more experienced as a teacher. I am able to teach a variety of age ranges whether this be children or adults and can teach the Piano, Trumpet, French Horn, Tuba, and Euphonium up to grade 5. I will be able to teach the trombone to a much higher level (grade 8+).
