Literacy is so important to today’s society. I love reading, writing, and spelling. I believe that those skills are important to any young learner. I love to find new ways to engage the learners and incorporate things they like to do as well.

I have more than 15 years experience in education. I hold a Master’s in Education. I love to build communication with the student and families to be able to determine what is going to help the student learn best. I like the parents to stay in the know so the skills the student is learning can also be reinforced at home. I like to take things students are interested in and build on that while creating lesson plans. A typical lesson would be an overview of what we are working on for the session, an example for us to complete together and lastly the opportunity for the student to do the skills on their own.
