I am a professional educator, certified by the Ontario College of Teachers. I am an optimistic, approachable educator. I have taught University English at the Grade 12 level for one year! I create learning experiences that are comfortable with the appropriate challenges to help you reach your potential and academic goals. I am super passionate about your success! I am an Ontario College of Teachers Certified Teacher Candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (Ryerson University), and working knowledge of Ontario Curriculum and pedagogical strategies. I love to create clear, concise and interactive lesson plans for students in grades 4-12. My lesson plans make use of relevant and engaging material that match the students' interests, in an effort to create "sticky learning"! [Educational experiences that will stick with students, and essentially follow them into the real world]. I am accommodating of students individualistic learning needs, and operate from a strengths-based + differentiated instruction approach!
