About Serena
I believe every student can learn!
I am a teacher credential student, working every day to grow as a professional teacher. I spend my days working with a teacher who has over 20 years of experience, and I spent a year in China teaching English to young students. I have also volunteered with students at different age levels and I am a mom of two kids of my own.

My favorite part of teaching is seeing students' creative ideas and thinking. I love great stories, so our lessons will have great literature as our starting point. I like to make learning fun, so we can learn through playing games, working with words in context, and being creative. Our lessons will include me showing you what to do, us working on it together, and then you WOW me with what you can do.
