I want to tutor English because I’m passionate about helping students develop their confidence and skills in reading, writing, and communication. With my background in English Literature and teaching, I understand the challenges students face and enjoy finding creative ways to make learning engaging and accessible. English is more than just a subject—it’s a key to understanding the world, expressing ideas, and achieving academic and career goals. Whether it’s improving essay writing, analysing literature, or mastering grammar, I tailor my approach to each student’s needs. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the power of language. By tutoring online, I can reach students who need flexible and effective learning support, helping them grow in confidence and ability no matter where they are.

I work as a teacher of English in a secondary high school, offering high quality bespoke lessons for English language and literature aimed at passing GCSE English. Sessions can be adapted for A-Level. My research for my master's degree covered a wide variety of subject areas including the gothic, modernism, women writers and literature from the restoration period
