I am an MBA Marketing with more than 5 years corporate IT experience who left her job to nurture her family and then took up teaching French in a high school because I am passionate about languages and a born teacher.
I adapt my lessons to suit my audience and have taught languages to ten-year olds and to fifty-year olds with equal success. I like to engage my students in the lesson, so that they participate more, and learn and absorb the lesson better.
I firmly believe that it is the teacher's duty to make lessons seem more like fun and less like learning for them to be effective and long-lasting. For this, I utilise all resources at hand, from print-outs, to text-books, to references, to social media, to even (yes) films!
