About Rayna
I am a licensed K-12 teacher with experience in a German-language classroom. I have substitute taught K-12, all subject areas! Diversity of thought is important and I have gained insight from teaching in Wisconsin, North Carolina, Oregon, and Virginia. I am passionate about the humanities, global studies, social studies, theater, and the transition of students into professional settings.

My teaching methods are inclusive, culturally relevant, and differentiated to the learner. Comprehensible input + 1 is my approach: once comprehension goals are hit, provide each student with stretch goals to foster self-motivated learners. I am highly skilled in improvisational theater and enjoy incorporating humor, movement, and art into each lesson.
