About Valerie
I am currently a high school librarian with 22 years experience in the classroom and school setting and have presented at various districts in the Houston area, plus at two state level conferences. I have experience and knowledge in a variety of strategies to teach students. I am able to tutor for the Texas teaching exam, teaching methods courses, pedagogy, and instructional technology. My BA degree is in English with a History minor, a Masters in Library Science, and a Master in Educational Leadership. I hold certifications in Secondary English 6-12, Secondary History 6-12, Technology Applications 8-12, All Level Learning Resource Specialist (Library) PreK-12, and Principal EC-12. I have just begun my tutorials.
