When approaching a lesson I like to vary an introduction using an exciting starter which would lead into the objective. For younger children this would be practical & interactive. Older children would enjoy a more abstract approach where a topic could be introduced by reciprocal questions/ answers or brainstorming.
As the lesson moves towards the objective I like to give opportunities for learners to engage with questions &/ or discussion.
