About Alice
I am looking to help pupils who require additional language lessons alongside their in-school lessons. I have studied German since I was 12, and have previously lived in Berlin. I am a qualified teacher, and love encouraging a love of languages and believe every pupil is able to achieve their best. I have helped many pupils prepare for their GCSEs (including speaking - agh!) and am very confident and secure in my own knowledge. I graduated from University of Bristol with a BA in German and Russian, and recently graduated from UWE with a PGCE with QTS in Secondary Modern Languages

With experience in secondary schools, I am able to teach pupils from year 7 all the way up to A-Level. With a focus on grammar-based learning, a typical lesson would last 60 minutes total, and we would do lots of practice of key vocab and grammar. I am knowledgeable on exam techniques, and have worked to the AQA spec as well as WJEC. I believe in pupil participation and student-led lessons, so the onus will be on the pupil for their own learning, but I will be there every step of the way :)
