About Michele
I am a teacher of 23 years in many diverse populations both rural and urban. I have taught many different types of programs, trainings, professional development, schools etc. I specialize in Special Education, Drama, English, Writing and math to Algebra and some Geometry. I love to setup students for success with strategies for growth and lifelong learning. All students and families are welcome!

My teaching method is simple. I listen to the problem to see the true root of the challenge. I create lesson plans, dependent upon what the student needs that follows clear progression of background knowledge, concept, application, execution and synthesizing the information. I like students to master a concept they are asking about if appropriate. I work with special needs populations and have working knowledge of IEP's, areas of need and goals. I'm very good at creating lessons for intensive and strategic students as well as GATE. My lessons are for both k-12 students, adults, college level writing, executive functioning strategies, organization, test taking strategies, IEP review, lesson planning and more.
