About Grace
I hold a master's degree in English and History and work with students daily on reading, writing, study skills, and academic support. I also have extensive experience supporting students with IEPs and 504 plans, allowing me to tailor instruction to a wide range of learning styles and needs. I teach middle school, 8th grade specifically. I am certified in secondary education

I focus on helping students build confidence, not just memorize answers. With a master’s degree in English and History and daily experience working with middle and high school students, I know how to break difficult concepts into manageable steps that actually make sense.
My lessons are personalized to each student’s learning style, strengths, and goals. Whether a student struggles with reading comprehension, writing, organization, test anxiety, or time management, I scaffold instruction so they feel supported instead of overwhelmed. I also have extensive experience working with students with IEPs and 504 plans, helping them develop strategies that work for them academically and emotionally.
