About Parwinder
I am a dedicated Punjabi language tutor with a strong commitment to teaching junior children in Canada in a supportive, structured, and engaging environment. My approach combines modern teaching techniques with a deep respect for Punjabi language and culture.
I believe that children learn best when they feel confident, encouraged, and comfortable. For this reason, my lessons are carefully planned, age-appropriate, and interactive. I focus on helping students develop clear pronunciation, basic conversational skills, and a gradual understanding of Gurmukhi, while ensuring that learning remains enjoyable.
I maintain a high standard of professionalism in all my classes, with clear communication, punctuality, and well-organized lesson plans. Parents are regularly informed about their child’s progress, and students are guided with patience and positive reinforcement.
Whether a child is a complete beginner or already familiar with Punjabi at home, I provide structured guidance to help them build confidence, improve skills, and develop pride in their language and heritage.

My teaching methodology is child-centred, play-based, and bilingual, designed especially for children growing up in Canada.
Focus on listening and speaking first, followed by reading and writing (Gurmukhi).
Use songs, rhymes, stories, games, visuals, and role-play to keep children engaged.
Lessons are interactive and activity-based, not lecture-based.
English is used only as a support language to explain meanings when necessary.
Emphasis on confidence building, correct pronunciation, and cultural connection.
Positive reinforcement is used through praise, encouragement, and fun rewards.
The goal is to help children love Punjabi, feel proud of their language, and use it naturally.
