About Jordan
I have been a passionate public school teacher for ten years and I absolutely adore my job! I hold a bachelor's degree in education as well as multiple certifications from Mindful Schools to teach social-emotional learning and mindfulness to students. For mindfulness strategies, I teach using the Mindful Schools curriculum which include an explanation of the strategy, how to use it, as well as a mindfulness practice/meditation using the practice. The lessons build on each other and provide my students with the skills to meet life head-on while staying in the present moment! Life can be hard. In a world where we can often be sad about the past or worried about the future, mindfulness and social-emotional skills can help us reset our nervous system and body back to the present moment! These skills can help you in your personal life, in school or at work!
