You can feel completely confident learning with me. I bring decades of real-world experience and a genuine passion for helping people master technology. I've worked in IT for over 30 years, with extensive hands-on experience, and for more than a decade, I've served as a learning coach for IT courses at a school, guiding students and staff daily. I am A+ certified, demonstrating a strong foundation in computer hardware and software, and currently, I'm responsible for maintaining and repairing over 300 computers for my company. This means I truly understand the practical challenges people face and how to solve them efficiently.
My approach is always professional, patient, and easygoing. I create a welcoming and supportive environment where every question is encouraged, and no one feels left behind. I'm committed to clear communication, reliability, and respecting your time and learning goals. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills, I'll work with you to build your confidence and help you achieve your objectives. With over 10 years of experience as a learning coach for IT courses at a school, and more than 30 years of hands-on computer repair, I bring a practical, supportive approach to every lesson. I am A+ certified and currently manage the repair and maintenance of over 200 computers (mostly remote) as well as tech support for my for school, so I understand both the technical and human side of technology.
My teaching method is patient, adaptable, and easygoing—I focus on meeting you where you are, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build on existing skills. I use real-world examples and interactive problem-solving to make sure you not only understand the “how,” but also the “why” behind each concept. I specialize in translating complicated tech jargon into plain, understandable English, so you’ll never feel lost or overwhelmed.
When speaking with a new person, I always start with a quick chat about your goals and any challenges you’re facing. We’ll set a clear objective for the session, then work through practical exercises—like troubleshooting a PC, learning new software, or setting up a 3D printer (including Klipper firmware). I encourage questions and make sure you leave each lesson with new skills and confidence.
What sets me apart is my long-term experience in both education and IT support, my A+ certification, my easygoing attitude, and my commitment to making technology approachable for everyone. I’m known for being patient, friendly, and able to explain even complex topics in plain language.
