About Cait
Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor
I am currently a biochemistry student with a deep passion for the English language. I have over one year of experience in private English tutoring, which includes a significant placement in Paris, France, where I taught English to three children aged 6, 10, and 14. This experience helped me develop effective teaching methods and gain practical insights into language instruction.

My Approach to Tutoring
Teaching Techniques and Methodology
My approach to tutoring is student-centered, focusing on individual learning styles and needs to ensure each student can achieve their academic goals. I use a variety of teaching techniques, including:
-Interactive Lessons: Incorporating games, multimedia resources, and real-life scenarios to make learning engaging and relevant.
-Customized Lesson Plans: Tailoring lessons to the specific language proficiency and learning pace of each student.
-Active Participation: Encouraging students to participate actively through discussions, role-playing, and group activities to build confidence and fluency.
Regular Assessments: Conducting informal assessments and providing constructive feedback to track progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Typical Length of a Lesson
-Each lesson typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s age, concentration span, and learning objectives. This duration allows ample time to cover new material, practice skills, and address any questions or difficulties the student may have.
Target Audience for Lessons
My lessons are designed for a diverse range of learners, including: Children and Adolescents: Ages 6 to 18, at varying levels of English proficiency, from beginners to advanced learners.
Adults: Who are looking to improve their English for academic, professional, or personal reasons.
Exam Preparation: Students preparing for English proficiency exams such as TEFL, IELTS, and other standardized tests.
By focusing on interactive and customized teaching methods, I aim to create a positive and productive learning environment that motivates students and helps them achieve their language goals.
