About Trisha

Hello! I'm a TEFL-certified native English speaker born and raised in the United States. I have a passion for language, communication, and helping others gain confidence in their English skills.

As someone who studied German and is currently learning Spanish, I understand both the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. I know what it's like to struggle with pronunciation, grammar, and building confidence in conversation, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes.

I have a bachelor's degree with concentrations in Communications, Human Resources, and Religion, as well as a master's degree focused on Global Sustainability. Professionally, I work for a nonprofit organization that helps communities build resilience and prepare for future challenges. My work requires strong communication, writing, and relationship-building skills, which I bring into my teaching.

I am also an avid reader and writer, and I place a strong emphasis on clear communication. Students often appreciate my neutral American accent, clear pronunciation, and patient teaching style. Whether you're looking to improve your conversational English, expand your vocabulary, strengthen your grammar, or build confidence speaking with native speakers, I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.

When I'm not working or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, and continuing my own language-learning journey.

As a TEFL-certified native English speaker from the United States, I focus on practical communication skills that you can use in real-life situations. Lessons may include conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary building, grammar support, reading, listening, and writing exercises.

I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, so my teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. Together, we'll work at a pace that helps you steadily improve your fluency and confidence in English.
