I believe that a one-on-one teaching approach is perfect as it allows me to assess the individual student's needs. My lessons are targeted toward juniors and teenagers (7+) to adults (18+). I am open to hearing about topics that spark an interest for you to make you more at ease in my class. I am TEFL certified and have experience as a private tutor in which I prepared personalised practice tests and worksheets. I tailored my lessons to the students needs and ensured a safe space without judgment. I also assisted in exam preparation for grade 7. My aim is to help you to improve your confidence and fluency in English rather than feeling ashamed. I will help you learn to understand others and express yourself in a way that others will understand you.
My lessons are designed to help you feel more confident, understand better and improve on your reading and writing skills alongside any personal goals you may have.In my classes, we will keep two principles in mind:
1. Active recall -This is an efficient way to move information from short term memory to long term memory by continually revising content.
2. Adjust what's not working - I will asses your learning needs and capabilities in order to create a relaxed learning method for you to fully grasp and understand what is being taught.
Lessons will be either 30, 45 or 90 minutes depending on the needs of the student.
