About Alcina
I am a 4th year Communication student with a minor in Japanese. I'm in the midst of my TESL practicum, so I already have experience teaching English in a classroom setting. I also have experience being a TA when I was in my last year of high school.

I prefer a task-based and communicative approach. What this means is that I will give you worksheets that we can work on together and also have daily conversations on the theme of the lesson. I usually cater to my learners since everyone has a different learning style and different goals in mind.
You'll find that I'm a relaxed person who likes to add humour to her lessons. I'm anything, but a strict person.
