About Bernadette
Hello, my name is Bernadette Irene.
I am a CEFR Specialist, Trainer of Trainers, and TESOL & TEFL Certified Educator with more than 20 years of experience teaching English to learners from diverse backgrounds. Throughout my career, I have worked with students, professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, hospitality staff, corporate employees, and course owners, helping them develop practical English skills for real-world communication.
My teaching philosophy is simple: language should be used, not just studied. I believe that confidence grows when learners actively communicate in meaningful situations rather than focusing only on memorization and grammar rules.
In addition to teaching English, I have extensive experience in curriculum development, teacher training, and English for Specific Purposes (ESP). My lessons are guided by international CEFR standards and tailored to each learner's goals, learning style, and pace.

My lessons are designed to help learners move beyond memorizing grammar and vocabulary and start using English confidently in real-life situations.
As a CEFR Specialist, Trainer of Trainers, and TESOL & TEFL Certified Educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience, I use a communicative and learner-centered approach that focuses on practical language use, fluency development, and meaningful interaction.
A typical lesson includes speaking practice, vocabulary building, grammar in context, listening activities, pronunciation improvement, and real-world communication tasks. Lessons are tailored to each learner's goals, whether for academic purposes, professional development, business communication, interviews, presentations, travel, or everyday conversation.
What sets me apart is my strong background in CEFR-based curriculum design, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and teacher training. I help students understand not only what English means, but also how to use it naturally and effectively.
