About Mark
I am a TESOL-certified English tutor with extensive experience teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. My goal is to create a supportive and focused learning environment where students can build confidence and improve their language skills efficiently. I am committed to providing clear explanations, personalised feedback, and professional guidance to help each student reach their full potential. I have lived in Thailand for over twenty years and have firsthand experience of the difficulties faced when communicating across cultures. I believe that a little patience and a friendly smile, even while simply pointing to what’s needed, can go a long way in bridging communication gaps and building trust.

With TESOL certification and years of experience, I offer online English lessons to students of all levels (Beginners to Advanced). We begin each lesson with a friendly warm-up chat before selecting a news article to review together. After reading the headline, we look at key vocabulary and then read through the article. We complete the comprehension section to check understanding, followed by two discussion parts … one focused on the article, and the other on the wider topic. Throughout, I answer any questions you may have, help with pronunciation, and support your grammar in real time. This structured but relaxed format suits students of all levels and helps build confidence and fluency in both spoken and written English.
