About Irina
My first classroom teaching experience was during high school. I was a private English and Maths
tutor for elementary school children. It was the very moment when I realized I enjoyed sharing my
knowledge.
My careful preparation of lessons allows me to break down complicated concepts to simple examples
that my young and adult students could grasp, which is rewarding for both my students and me.
Furthermore, I always incorporate different activities and tasks to make my lesson interesting and
dynamic. This also helps me to understand which way of learning is the best for my students.

I prefer to use communicative approach in teaching English. The Communicative approach emphasizes the ability to communicate the message in terms of its meaning, instead of concentrating exclusively on grammatical perfection or phonetics. First of all we train listening and speaking skills, then we pay attention to reading and writing. This "chain" makes acquiring language faster and easier.
