About Tyana
I am a Texas-certified educator with 6 years of experience teaching Reading Language Arts. I have worked with students at different ability levels, including those who need additional reading intervention, dyslexia support, and Special Education services.
I am patient, dependable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help each student strengthen their reading and writing skills while building confidence and becoming a more independent learner.

With 6 years of Reading Language Arts teaching experience, I use a patient, structured, and individualized approach. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and areas of need, then tailor lessons to help them build skills and confidence.
A typical lesson includes a quick review, direct instruction, guided practice, and independent practice. I support elementary and middle school students in reading comprehension, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, writing, and dyslexia-related skills.
What sets me apart is my experience working with diverse learners and my ability to break challenging skills into clear, manageable steps.
