About Michael

My name is Michael, English has been part of my life for over 30 years—not just as a language learned in school, but as a tool for work and everyday life. After years spent working in international professional environments, I've had the opportunity to negotiate, present, exchange ideas, and collaborate in English daily, in demanding multicultural contexts. I also lived in London for several years, which allowed me to develop a fluency in English that is as natural in spoken English as it is in a professional setting. This dual experience—international professional experience and daily immersion in English—is what I now bring to my students. My goal is not to teach you a theoretical language, but to impart a living, useful, and applicable English, whether it's to advance your career, prepare for an international context, or simply gain fluency and confidence in speaking. I believe in a tailored pedagogy, attentive to the needs and pace of each individual, in a supportive environment where progress is made without pressure or judgment.

About the lesson

My approach: 30 years spent in international professional environments, including several periods living in London, have taught me English in a way that goes beyond books: through everyday experiences, meetings, friends, and shopkeepers. It's this blend of professional and personal experience that I share with my students. My method: No rigid curriculum or grammar disconnected from context. I start with your real objectives, and we learn by speaking, through concrete scenarios (interviews, presentations, everyday conversations, etc.). Speaking and confidence in speaking are at the heart of the approach. A typical lesson: - An informal exchange to get started - Targeted work on a specific point according to your needs - Practice through dialogue, role-playing, or simulations - Personalized feedback and suggestions for improvement. What sets me apart: A rather rare dual expertise: business English (negotiation, sourcing, international context) and everyday English, including "street English." A teaching approach rooted in lived experience rather than theory. Who are my courses for? Professionals wishing to improve their business English, as well as students or individuals who want to gain fluency in speaking — at all levels, in a friendly setting.
