About Cassidy
"Piano studies began for me at age 5 before expanding into violin and voice. You will find that my pedagogy reflects a deep focus on HAND INDEPENDENCE and precise dynamics.
Having earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Chamber Music from the Curtis Institute of Music, I bring a refined academic perspective to every student. My 6 years of experience allow me to address your specific needs in classical repertoire or jazz improvisation. A commitment to rigorous training defines my style. I enjoy seeing students master complex pedaling technique.
Teaching remains a central part of my professional life. Sight transposition and ear training are areas I emphasize. It is important to me that you find satisfaction in your musical development."

"Starting your first session does not require perfect existing skills. Technical flaws are often just habits waiting for correction through my ABRSM and Trinity exam preparation methods. My degree from the Curtis Institute of Music informs how I structure our time on accompaniment and expression. You receive a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home.
That helps keep the momentum moving forward between our meetings. Perhaps we can find a time that fits your schedule."
