About Laetitia

My name is Laetitia. I have a master's degree in Applied Foreign Languages (English and German) and a Master in FLE French as a Foreign Language. My first experience as a French lecturer at Queen Mary University of London was critical, and I never stopped teaching since. I have traveled and lived in Europe, Asia and the Middle East for years. I worked among others for the French Alliance of Abu Dhabi, the French Cultural Centre in Phnom Penh in Cambodia, offering a wide range of courses at all levels, for individuals as for groups. My last position was the University of Paris Sorbonne Abu Dhabi has been very rewarding. I was teaching students from beginner to level B2 level required to enter a French course at the university. I know very well the DELF, to have passed and proofread all these years. I just got back in my native country dear to me, and I settled in the center of Paris between the Galeries Lafayette, and Moulin Rouge. I appreciate the wonderful encounters with learners worldwide. So let us meet so I can share with you my love for the French language and my fascination with Paris., The most beautiful capital of the world! My name is Laetitia. I graduated in business and languages (English and German) and I have a master in FLE (teaching French as a Foreign Language). My first experience In London, as a French language assistant in Queen Mary University, Was fulfilling and I have never stopped teaching since then. I have Traveled and Lived in Europe, Asia and in the Middle East for Some Time. I Worked for the French Alliance of Abu Dhabi, and the French Cultural Centre in Phnom Penh in Cambodia Among Others, Offering a variety of study options in all levels, from beginner to advanced, and all forms tutoring from private to group lessons. My last position in the Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi was very rewarding. I Taught students from all continents and my role Was to bring 'em from A1 to B2 level, ALLOWING em to enter a French curriculum at university. I am very familiar with the DELF as I invigilated and corrected DELF exams thesis During all years. I just came back to my dear country and-settled in Paris entre les Galeries Lafayette and the Moulin Rouge. I love being in touch with learners from everywhere. So, let's meet so I can share my love of the French language and my passion for Paris and its amazing world!

About the lesson

Learning a new language is magical. Learning is more effective when it combines a mix of excitement at the discovery, pleasure and sense of personal accomplishment. So I propose activities that fill you with joy because they are different from what a language class offers. Your motivation is accentuated by the element of surprise, a new environment that gives you pleasure. Your active attitude gives you the feeling of having accomplished something for yourself: you do not listen passively, you act and live the language as a life experience that makes sense. Learning a new language is magic. The process is much more efficient When It combined a mixture of pleasure and self satisfaction feelings. Reasons for thesis, I Provide you with enjoyable activities That will fill you with excitement Because They Are different from what you are offert in a class. Surprise makes you feel more motivated. Pleasure is found Because a friendly environment makes you feel good. Self satisfaction derived from your active attitude: you are not listening passively but really performing tasks yourself, with a live Meaningful impact on your life.

L’effet que Laetitia a eu sur moi n’est pas qu’un effet linguistique. Elle m’a enseigné pendant ma première année de FLE à La Sorbonne Abu Dhabi. Son humour et son amour font partie de ses cours. Elle partageait toujours des anecdotes personnelles et s'intéressait aux histoires de ses étudiants. Elle partageait aussi sa passion pour la musique et pour les films. Laetitia nous a organisé plein de sorties et d’activités culturelles. Son immersion dans différentes cultures lui donne une vision plus vaste et plus humaine de l’apprentissage et de l’enseignement. Elle faisait toujours un effort de parler l’arabe afin de créer une possibilité d’échange et de traduction. Je dis très heureusement et fièrement que “Madame Laetitia” est devenue aujourd’hui ma grande amie Laetitia et je la recommande vivement à toutes et à tous.
