About Angela

I am a mom of two. I love baking, writing, doing art and crafts, singing, dancing, and laughing. I am kind, respectful, and patient, tolerant. I like to have fun lessons and promote collaboration, engagement, and a sense of community in my classes when students are learning.

About the lesson

I am a qualified teacher with eleven years of experience working with students of all ages. I graduated in Education with a Major in Special Education from UNIFE in Lima, Peru. In addition, I have the Certificate in Media and Technology for Education - 2021 by the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), Spanish Teaching Certificate E/LE (Spanish as Foreign Language Certificate) - 2020 by Academia Buenos Aires of Argentina and Cervantes Institute, and the First TEFL Certificate (Teaching of English as Foreign Language) - 2015 by Hunter College, City University of New York and Idiomas Católica in Lima - Peru. I have worked as a Special Education teacher, Preschool teacher, Youth Counselor, English Tutor, English teacher, Spanish teacher, and Assistant Teacher. In addition, I have over three years as a tutor of Spanish, English, Math, Language and Arts, and Science for Elementary. I love being an educator and enjoy working with students while learning about them. I consider myself patient, polite, and a very creative person with a good sense of humor, an optimist, and engaged with my role as a teacher.
