About Ward

I am a FIBA-Certified Professional and University Basketball Coach and Programme Director, holding the highest basketball coaching qualifications in the UK. With 18+ years of coaching experience, I have worked internationally across all levels of the game, including NBA G League, NCAA Division I, BBL, national teams, and European professional athletes.

Alongside coaching, I am an Assistant Principal, with extensive experience in teaching, leadership, and student development across subjects including Business, Economics, Geography, Psychology, ICT, and Career Development. This dual background allows me to develop athletes holistically, physically, tactically, mentally, and academically. Sessions are available in person or online, tailored to help players maximise performance and long-term potential.

Lessons are structured, high-intensity, and tailored to the player’s level and goals. Sessions focus on skill development, decision-making, and game understanding, using professional training methods. Available 1-to-1 or in small groups, in person or online, with a strong emphasis on standards, consistency, and long-term development.
