About Eugene
I've taught high school English honors, regular, AP, and IB; as well as college classes in Composition and Literature. As a full-time teacher for years, I've taught hundreds of students, in classes and one-on-one. My SAT students score an average of plus 100-150 points after tutoring; AP Literature and Composition students have gone on to ivy league and state universities, where they succeed as writers and critical thinkers; creative writing students have submitted works for publication and continue to write fiction and poetry. Whether you are a novice or emerging writer, I will help you produce, structure, and polish your work.

With a B.A. in English Literature, M.A. in Creative Writing, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, and fifteen plus years of teaching and professionally writing in USA (L.A., N.Y.) and abroad (Germany), I enjoy helping learners discover their voice as writers, whether in academic, commercial, or personal genres, or as students, helping them to achieve their personal best academically. I've taught high school English classes, including honors, regular, AP, IB, SAT, and Philosophy; as well as college classes in Composition and Literature. Humor and outside-the-box solutions comprise my mentor's tool kit. I believe that individual learning differences are strengths waiting to be capitalized on.
