About Meera
Born and raised in the UK, I recently made the move to Ahmedabad to deepen my work in therapy and counselling. My goal has always been to blend both Eastern and Western approaches to mental health—bringing together holistic practices with evidence-based methods. As an Indian myself, moving to India also felt like a personal journey—to reconnect with my roots, embrace the culture, and continue growing both professionally and personally. I currently work alongside a team of psychiatrists in Ahmedabad, offering therapy that’s personalised, down-to-earth, and truly collaborative. Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me sipping on an iced coffee, exploring new cities, meeting new people at social events, or heading off to a meditation retreat to recharge.

I offer personalised, client-centred counselling that begins with a deep understanding of your unique story. In our initial sessions, we explore key areas of your life such as family, relationships, career, and overall mental well-being to enable me to connect with you and build a clear picture of your experiences. Together, we identify your personal strengths and the challenges you’re facing. I help you reconnect with those strengths and integrate them into your everyday life in meaningful ways. From there, we clarify your goals—what you want from therapy, how you envision your future, and the changes you hope to see. With your goals in mind, we collaboratively create a step-by-step plan tailored to support your journey—whether you're looking to manage stress, build confidence, feel more in control of your life, or simply experience greater self-acceptance and emotional balance. Some of the evidence-based methods I draw from include (but are not limited to): - Positive Psychology - Non-Violent Communication - Mindfulness-Based Practices My aim is to empower you with tools, insights, and support that are both practical and transformative.

- So far I have really enjoyed my sessions with Kapil! Kapil is open and honest about how he feels and some of the challenges in his personal life which makes it easier for me to support him. He is also very easy to talk to which has allowed me to build a great rapport with him. Kapil also has self-motivation which has helped him to incorporate new habits into his day to day such as exercising in the morning.
