About Flora
A bit about me:
• I'm a 3rd year finance university student with honors bilingual certificate in French
• I was elected for English award (as nominated by my teachers) at high school graduation
• I have 5 years of experience teaching children and delivering Literacy, Math, and Science programs
• I work extensively with children in the age ranges of 6-14 years old
• I've worked one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD

My approach is to create personalized lesson plans for each student―tailored to the their individual strengths, needs, and areas for improvement.
Some subjects we may cover include:
• grammar & phonics
• vocabulary
• reading & writing
• conversational fluency
I use a combination of traditional resources (i.e. books, textbooks) and non-traditional media resources. Here are some examples:
• reading science news articles for a kid that loves animals
• writing and publishing an online dinosaur encyclopedia for a kid that loves dinosaurs
• reading/writing music video lyrics for a kid that loves music
All materials I use will be provided/included. However, homework help is also available if needed!
