About Evelyn
I am a TEFL-qualified English tutor and native English speaker with plenty of experience. As someone who loves learning languages myself, I understand both the excitement and the challenges that come with mastering a new language. This allows me to relate to my students, understand common difficulties, and use proven learning techniques that help build confidence and long-term progress.
I pride myself on being patient, supportive, and adaptable. Every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit individual learning styles and goals. Your progress is always my priority, and I strive to create lessons where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing a thorough understanding of English. My lessons are primarily aimed at students aged 8–15 and are suitable for learners from beginner level up to B2. Each lesson lasts one hour and is carefully planned to meet the individual needs of the student.
I use immersive teaching methods that encourage active participation and communication. Lessons are supported by carefully curated, easy-to-understand presentations and learning materials that make English both accessible and enjoyable. I strongly believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the lesson rather than simply listening.
Whether you need help with schoolwork, homework, exam preparation, speaking practice, or a specific topic you’d like to improve, I am happy to help. If you let me know your goals or areas of focus in advance, I will create a detailed lesson plan and lesson overview tailored specifically to your needs.
My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and encouraging. I place a strong emphasis on speaking practice and helping students gain confidence when using English. Mistakes are always welcome in my classroom—they are a natural part of learning and often provide the best opportunities for improvement.
