About Sowmiya
I'm Sowmiya Kannan, I completed a master's in history!!! My aim is to become a professor and also, I made efforts for it. I assure you that I clearly explain historical events in the easiest way to understand, and I try to explain in the easiest way and connect to the present. Also, I want to share my knowledge with everyone; that's why I chose the field of teaching.

In my classes, I teach history in a simple, clear, and engaging way so that students can truly understand concepts instead of just memorizing lessons. I connect past events with the present world to make learning meaningful and interesting. I focus especially on modern Indian history and important exam-oriented topics, helping students analyze causes, effects, and important personalities deeply. My goal is to build strong conceptual knowledge, improve answer-writing skills, and make students confident in scoring high marks in exams.
