I am a professional librarian working in the legal information services sector. My academic background is in political science (undergraduate) and library and information science (graduate), and I am excited to work with students interested in improving their critical thinking or academic research skills to excel in any subject. Meeting students at their current level, I use a constructionist pedagogical approach to address the subjects of immediate interest and relevance to my students through problem-based learning. By focusing on the concepts, topics and materials they need to master next, we can make progress together faster and help build momentum toward the kind of positive achievement that keeps students motivated to learn and excel.
