About Tyra
Music occupies my thoughts 24 hours a day. You deserve a coach who remembers what it feels like to struggle with pitch control or range while standing under the stage lights.
My 13 years of gigging across the country inform every technique I share with my 81 students. I focus on practical vocal health, care, and resonance.
We will work through belting technique and expand your vocal range together. You will also learn the art of harmony singing and fine-tune your control over tone. I keep things playful and patient as we build your unique sound. We focus on the basics of breath and stability.

Vocal strain often comes from trying to sound perfect rather than sounds natural. You should aim for ease in your throat before worrying about hitting the high notes with power. I utilize my 13 years of touring experience to show you how to maintain your voice while belting or sustaining long sets. We prioritize healthy habits that protect your instrument for the long haul.
My lessons emphasize pitch control and resonance as the foundation for your singing. We build your confidence by focusing on the songs you love most. You will find your own voice by working through real world performance challenges. I provide the tools you need to sing with total comfort.
