A certified Indian Classical Kathak Dancer & Performer for over 15+ years of experience. Disciple Of Taalyogi Suresh Talwalkar Guruji. I provide training in the dance style of kathak also Semi-Classical & Bolly-Kathak. Dedicated to helping students of all levels unlock their potential in this beautiful and timeless art form. My approach blends classical techniques with personalised, step-by-step guidance tailored to your individual pace and goals. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced dancer, my lessons are designed to develop your technique, rhythm, and storytelling abilities in Kathak. I offer online lessons that are perfect for students of all ages, helping you grow at your own pace in a supportive, professional environment.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is rooted in traditional Kathak techniques, while adapting to each student’s individual needs. I emphasise a strong foundation in rhythm, footwork, hand gestures (mudras), and storytelling through dance. I guide students through a step-by-step process to ensure clarity, precision, and confidence in their performances. Additionally, I incorporate theoretical knowledge of Kathak, including its history and cultural significance, to help students connect deeply with the art form. Lessons are typically 45 minutes long, allowing enough time to practise and refine skills while maintaining an engaging pace. This structure ensures that students make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed. With over 15 years of professional experience and training in Kathak, I bring a wealth of expertise to my lessons. I’ve worked with students at various levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers, and welcome learners of all ages. Whether you’re looking to start your Kathak journey, refine your technique, or explore more advanced aspects of the dance, my lessons are designed to cater to your needs and aspirations.
