About Carl
I have extensive experience in music teaching in conservatories, musicprograms in high schools as well as private teaching, courses and workshops. Both in Sweden and Brasil.
Worked with diffeent artist in Sweden and Brasil and has toured around Europe, Brazil and Africa.
My skills are broad and I teach from classical guitar to electric guitar in pop, folk, rock, fusion and jazz. I have also specialized into Brazilian guitar and Brazilian music.

I offer personalized guitar lessons for all levels and ages. My teaching is aimed at both beginners and advanced players who want to take their playing further. With my guitar lessons you will get the tools you need to develop your guitar playing and music making. I want to give you motivation, feedback and mentorship. I will answer questions and provide you with support throughout the course.
Below you can see different specializations and topics that you as a student can choose during guitar lessons.
Acoustic guitar
The student learns fundamental playing techniques, including chord progressions, melody playing, and various accompaniment styles. As a student, you’ll gain valuable skills that apply to all genres. You also get to choose your favorite songs, and together, we’ll build your repertoire.
Electric guitar
In this course, we take a deep dive into the electric guitar, teaching you how to play riffs, solos, and various techniques. You'll also learn how to accompany music effectively. The course is tailored to your skill level, whether you're a beginner or an advanced player.
Classical guitar
Students explore guitar music from various historical periods, including the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras, as well as contemporary and 20th-century compositions. The curriculum also includes music from South America and Spain, along with popular styles such as blues, pop, and rock.
Jazz guitar
Students study a selection of songs from the standard jazz repertoire while developing skills in chord playing, chord melody, and bass line accompaniment. Emphasis is placed on improvisation and applying music theory to performance, fostering a deeper understanding of jazz harmony and structure.
Brazilian Guitar
How do you play Brazilian guitar? In this course, we explore a variety of Brazilian music styles, including MPB, samba, bossa nova, choro, and baião. Students will gain a deeper understanding of Brazilian music and learn how to apply these unique styles to the guitar.
Music Theory / Musical Concepts
What is a key? How are chords formed? What are the fundamental elements of music? This module provides a solid foundation in basic music theory and essential musical concepts. Additionally, you'll learn techniques to extract and interpret songs and music independently.
Music Production
In this course, you'll learn how to create and record your own music using your computer. We cover songwriting, production, and arranging, working with DAW software and various tools like MIDI, loops, and software instruments.
