About Sylvie

I bring over 8 years of vocal coaching expertise with a commitment to guiding singers toward a balance of technical precision and expressive freedom. My students range from young singers tackling school and regional auditions, to college vocal majors, adults returning to music after years away, and professional musicians eager to polish their vocal and performance skills. The foundation of my teaching lies in establishing healthy vocal mechanics—focused on breath control, diaphragm engagement, vocal fold closure, resonance shaping, and consistent intonation—to enable sustainable vocal development and flexibility. Beyond technical mastery, I prioritize the emotional and artistic aspects of singing, helping students harness phrasing, dynamics, and narrative to connect meaningfully with their audience. My lessons are interactive and technology-enhanced, utilizing live recording for immediate feedback, piano accompaniment to support harmonic understanding, and digital tools for developing pitch accuracy, rhythmic precision, and ear training. About the lesson

Singing connects the physiological and the poetic—it is both a craft and an art, requiring discipline and imagination in equal measure.
